Information we collect

Artis Laminates is a business-to-business manufacturer. This is an informational and trade-enquiry website — it has no online store, no customer accounts and no login. We only collect the information you choose to give us, primarily when you complete an enquiry, contact, distributor or careers form, or when you reach out by phone, email or WhatsApp. This may include:

  • Your name and the business or firm you represent;
  • Contact details such as phone number, email address and city or state;
  • The contents of your message or enquiry — for example the products, collections or quantities you are interested in;
  • For distributor or career enquiries, any additional details you voluntarily provide (such as your location, market or background).

We do not sell products through this website and do not collect or process any payment-card, banking or financial information here. We do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal data, and we do not intend this website for use by children.

Optional business card scan

On the Connect form, you may optionally photograph or upload a business card to fill suggested contact fields more quickly. You can review and change every suggestion before sending the enquiry, and the normal form remains available without a card. The image is kept in a private Vercel Blob store. Google Gemini, accessed through Vercel AI Gateway, processes the image only to suggest the visible contact details; those suggestions are not used for automated decisions or advertising profiles.

If you do not complete the enquiry, the temporary card image is removed after up to 24 hours. Once the enquiry is accepted, the card is linked to that enquiry and retained privately for up to 24 months, unless an earlier deletion request applies or a longer legal hold is required. Access is limited to authorised Artis staff.

Artis Visualizer

When you use the Artis Visualizer, we collect the room photo you upload, the branded and clean previews generated from it, the Artis design and bounded surface-selection details, random job/conversion identifiers, and your consent choices. Your name, phone, email, city and enquiry remain in our protected lead system; they are not placed in Blob filenames or technical image metadata.

Vercel hosts the website and stores visualizer job files in a private Blob store. OpenAI processes the uploaded room photo and selected laminate swatch to generate the requested preview. We use the files to provide the preview, help you source the design, and review service quality.

We retain visualizer originals and results for up to 24 months, except where a longer hold is required by law. Your random browser credential can access your job for seven days; after that, access is limited to authenticated Artis staff for the balance of the retention period.

Internal visualizer improvement or training is optional and occurs only when you select that separate consent. Public inspiration or gallery consideration is a different optional choice shown after a result exists. Gallery consent does not publish anything automatically; an authorised Artis reviewer must approve and promote a selected asset.

To request access or deletion, or to withdraw training or gallery consent for future use, contact us using the phone, WhatsApp or email below and include the job ID if available. Withdrawal does not affect processing already required to deliver the preview, but we will stop the withdrawn optional use and review any already promoted gallery copy.

How we use your information

We use the information you share only to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide the information, samples or quotations you request;
  • Connect you with the appropriate distributor or member of our team;
  • Maintain a record of our business communication with you;
  • Improve our products, our network and this website.

We process this information because it is necessary to respond to your request and to pursue the legitimate business interest of operating and growing our distribution network. We do not use your details for automated decision-making or profiling.

Cookies and analytics

This website may use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function and to help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. These do not identify you personally. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; doing so should not affect your ability to browse the site.

If you arrive through a paid advertisement, we may retain limited campaign and click identifiers and offer you a choice to allow Google Ads conversion measurement. Refusing leaves all necessary site functions available. We do not enable personalised advertising, and ordinary direct, referral and organic-search visits do not load the Google Ads measurement tag.

Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share it only in limited circumstances:

  • With our authorised distributors or team members, so that your enquiry can be answered by the right person;
  • With trusted service providers who help us operate this website or communicate with you, who are permitted to use the data only on our instructions;
  • Where we are required to do so by law, regulation, or a valid request from a public authority, or to protect our legal rights.

Data retention and security

We keep your information only for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and to maintain a reasonable record of our business dealings, after which it is deleted or anonymised. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for further communication. To make a request, simply contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Third-party links

This website may link to external sites — for example our social media profiles or distributor resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The latest version will always be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
